Last December, Golden Boy Promotions announced that a deal had been struck to sign middleweight David Lemieux (33-2, 31KOs) of Canada to a promotional agreement. A few weeks later, promoter of Yvon Michel made it known that he planned to initiate a legal action, because his company was confident that it still had Lemieux under a valid promotional agreement.

Lemieux is not worried about the outside issues. He's only worried about his next fight, which is being worked on. His legal team and manager Camille Estephan are handling the situation.

"All that has been taken care of with my manager and the lawyers and everything. There is only noise that’s being put out but there’s nothing to be concerned about and everything is going to be taken care of very soon so there is no problems and nothing I should be worried about. All those details are for the manager and lawyers to take care of, but there’s nothing to be concerned about," Lemieux told On The Ropes Boxing Radio.
