With less than a month to go, both David Lemieux (25-1-0) and former WBA champion Joachim Alcine (32-2-1) are pushing forward in camp and their weights are on target. They clash for Lemieux's WBO international title. The WBC recently required both boxers to undergo a mandatory 30-day weigh-in. Neither boxer was capable of weighing less than 176-pounds. Lemieux, currently training in Montreal under the supervision of his coach Marc Ramsay, came in at 175-pounds. Alcine, who is currently training in Florida, came in at 172-pounds.

The fight takes place at the Bell Centre on December 10, as part of the series "Fast and Furious." GYM promotes the card.

A total of ten fights are scheduled. As previously reported, the co-feature will match Adonis Stevenson (15-1-0) defending his NABA title and trying to win the NABO and IBF Intercontinental super middleweigh titles against Aaron Pryor Jr. (16-4-0).

Also on the show, Eleider Alvarez (6-0-0) will fight for the NABA title in a clash against Emiliano Cayetano (21-3-0). The aspirant world WBA #10 super featherweight, Arash Usmanee (15-0-0), will face the Portuguese and European champion Antonio Joao Bento (23-8-2). At heavyweight, Oscar Rivas (7-0-0) will face the American Matthew Greer (14-7-0), while Didier Bence (3-0-0) will face Sandy Pembroke (1-3-0) of British Columbia. At super lightweight, Ghislain Maduma (5-0-0) will face Ontarian Jeremy Abbott (3-2-0). Super featherweight Baha Laham (6-0-0), will make his comeback against the Hungarian Szebeledi Richard (11-19-0, 2KO). Tyler Asselstine (7-0-0) will face Philippe Frenois (14-4-1). And finally, Kevin Lavallee (6-0-1) will face a rival to be confirmed.
