David Haye admits next month's fight with Wladimir Klitschko could be his last.
The WBA heavyweight champion has previously said he will not box on beyond his 31st birthday on October 13 and he is adamant he will stick to that plan - even if thay means missing out on another lucrative payday and a possible showdown with Wladimir's brother, Vitali.
Haye meets Wladimir, the IBF and WBO title-holder in Hamburg on July 2 and he told BBC Radio 5live's Sportweek: "It could be my last fight.
"I've always said that I am going to retire when I'm 30.
"If there's another fight (against WBC champion Vitali) that can happen quickly then let's get it on.
"Otherwise, once I've unified the titles, there's nowhere else to go - I've always anticipated retiring and have adjusted my life according to that."
A meeting with Vitali before October 13 would currently appear unlikely as the Ukrainian is scheduled to defend his title against Tomasz Adamek on September 10.
That fight would have to be called off or rearranged for a Haye-Vitali bout to take place.
