Dazzling David Haye is going to be ranked in the top-ten of the heavyweight division following his move up from the cruiserweight division.

Haye who sent a letter to WBC President relinquishing his Cruiserweight crown, requested to be ranked among the bigger boys.

David has already dipped his toes in these deeper waters by knocking out Pole Tomasz Bonin in less than one round in April 2007.

WBC Executive Secretary Mauricio Sulaiman explained that David’s ranking is up to the Ratings Committee. But he also said: “I can assure you that David Haye has all the merit and value to be in a very prominent position - absolutely top-ten for sure! David is a tremendous asset for the division, and I’m sure he’ll bring a lot of excitement to it, which is really needed.”

“Hayemaker” is 6'3 with an almighty eighty-inch reach and a chiseled teak like physique. But rather than slinging shots, David is being advised to keep developing into a Goliath.

Mauricio said: “Our recommendation is for him to build his body to be ready, and not to look for a quick big fight, but a determined long term  success in the division. He can win as David and he can become Goliath.”
