Oquendo will be training with WBA heavyweight champion David Haye, who faces IBO/WBO/IBF champ Wladimir Klitschko in the summer.
"It's a one day tournament. The first fight is three rounds, with each round being three minutes long, and then the winners will fight again in an hour. Then comes the semi-finals and final. I'm going to Miami this weekend to train with David Haye. I'll be sparring with him. I'm preparing for the tournament and he's preparing for [Wladimir] Klitschcko," Oquendo said.
Oquendo is going to be coached by the legendary hall of fame trainer Angelo Dundee, who was responsible for the training of Muhammad Ali and many other champions.
