At the MEN Arena in Manchester, England, WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (25-1, 23KOs) destroyed 2000 Olympic gold medal winner Audley Harrison (27-5, 20KOs) with a third round knockout. Haye retains his title for the second time.

Harrison came out moving forward and picking off Haye's jabs. The first round was fought at a very slow pace. Haye did a little more in the second, but not by much. He was lunging often with his shots because Harrison kept a good distance. Haye finally let his hands go in the third and started drilling Harrison with punches from both hands. He landed numerous combos to send Harrison down. Harrison made it up to his feet and still seemed very hurt. Haye finished him off quickly with hard shots from both hands as the referee jumped in to stop the fight.
