World featherweight champion Daud Yordan will defend his International Boxing Organization (IBO) title in China on March 28.

“My manager has informed me that my next bout will be held in China on March 28,” Yordan, who has a record of 32 wins (23 by KOs) and three losses, as quoted by the Antara news agency.

Daud, however, said that he was still waiting for information about who his opponent would be from his manager.

In December last year, Daud defended his title against South African Sipho “Tsunami” Taliwe in Perth, Australia.

When asked about whether he would train at Harry’s Gym in Perth as he did in preparation for previous fights, Daud said he had yet to receive confirmation about his training venue for the fight.

“In the meantime, I am preparing myself here [in Indonesia],” he said.

He added that he was undergoing regular training at his coach and brother Damianus Yordan’s gym in Ketapang, West Kalimantan. He will begin more intensive training later this month
