Middleweight contender Dario Morello of Italy is set for headline status at the Allianz Cloud in Milan when he tackles Switzerland’s Faton Vukishinaj with the vacant EBU silver strap on the line.
The 34-year-old Vukishinaj, 17-1-2 (12 KOs), has won once since his lone loss in November 2023 to Etinoso Oliha. This will mark the first foray to 12 rounds for 32-year-old Morello, 25-1 (4 KOs), who was widely outscored by Britain’s Luther Clay in 2019.
The Art of Fighting (TAF) bill will also feature four 10-round bouts, with two of them – Francesco Paparo vs. Catalin Ionescu at junior lightweight and Mohamed Elmaghraby vs. Davide De Lellis at light heavyweight – for Italian titles. Also featured is rising cruiserweight Jonathan Kogasso, 17-0 (11 KOs), who takes on Brandon Deslaurier, 19-5-1 (4 KOs), and, at junior middleweight, the 11-0-2 (5 KOs) Paolo Bologna readies for Nicholas Esposito, 20-1 (5 KOs).
