Super flyweight contender Cesar Seda Jr. (20-1, 15KOs) told Carlos Gonzalez that he was advised that WBO champion Omar Narvaez (34-0-2, 19KOs) was likely going to vacate his title in order to move up in weight to challenge IBO bantamweight champ Vic Darchinyan (36-3-1, 27KOs). Seda and Darchinyan are promoted by Gary Shaw. Seda, who plans to fight again in August in Juana Diaz, said that he expects to fight for the vacant WBO title when Narvaez makes the move in weight. Narvaez decisioned Seda in April and make the next defense of the title on June 11 against William Urina in Panama.
