Dante "Crazy" Jardon held a public workout ay Teiken Boxing Gym, and discussed his upcoming challenge of Japanese icon Takashi Miura for the super featherweight championship of the World Boxing Council (WBC). The fight is going to take place on Tuesday at the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan.
Jardon (24-3, 20 KOs), 25-years-old, has no fear of facing Miura (26-2-2, 19 KOs), 29-years-old, in the champion's backyard.
"Miura is a fighter with punching power and stamina. Based on his physical energy and always coming forward, the most important thing is to win by any means possible in this title fight," Jardon said.
Jardon says his power is also something that many opponents fear, and he plans to take the fight to the champion in order to secure a knockout and avoid the possibility of losing a close decision on the cards. There are very high expectations for this fight among the local press.
