Former WBA light heavyweight champion Danny Green (25-3, 22KOs) has announced his first return bout. He takes on South African fighter Anthony van Niekerk (21-6, 13KOs) on April 26 in Perth. It will be Green's first bout since he announced his retirement a year ago.
Green wants to fight at least three to four times this year. He wants to end the year with a rematch against Anthony Mundine. Depending on how well he does against Niekerk, Green's second bout may come against Shannan Taylor.
