Former junior middleweight champion Daniel Santos, in a recent interview with Endi, gave his thoughts on WBO welterweight champ Antonio Margarito facing WBA ruler Miguel Cotto in a possible unification showdown at the end of the year.

Santos, who fought Margarito twice, a no-contest at 147 and a technical decision win at 154, thinks Margarito will be a very tough fight for his countryman Cotto. He also picked Margarito to beat undefeated Paul Williams on Saturday, but admits that he barely knows anything about Williams.

"I know Margarito did not look good in his last fight, but if he happens to fight Cotto, he will be well prepared. I always go with Cotto, but this would be a very good fight where it could go either way," Santos said. "I pick Margarito to win (over Williams), but to be honest I have never seen Williams fight and know very little about him."
