Daiki Kameda, the flyweight champion of the WBA, and his brother Koki Kameda are reported to be in good condition for their fights against Rosendo Vega and Cecilio Santos, on Saturday, in Osaka, Japan.
Through an email, Koki and Daiki said that although they respect and Santos and Vega, "we're going to knock them out. Our successes will be very clear because we aspire to reach very important goals and we can not lose."
Daiki said - "I'm fine, I'm ready for the fight against Rosendo. I will be prepared because I'm approaching a very important fight to defend my title in September. My goal is to defend my crown several times and to be a strong champion.
Koki, a two-time world champion in different divisions, stressed that "this time I trained like never before and learned a lot of things. When I lost against Pongsaklek, I took things too lightly, but it's different now."
He said his match against Santos "is being taken very seriously, because I never fought at super flyweight. I have to go out with the victory and then look for the world title in the 115-pound division. I want to be the first [Japanese fighter] to win three titles in three different [weight] categories. "
