Earlier today an article ran on BoxingScene by Edward Chaykovsky that stated that contracts are nearly finalized for a December 7th showdown between IBF welterweight champion Devon Alexander (25-1, 14KOs) and British superstar Amir Khan (28-3, 19KOs). According to the article, there is a good chance that the fight will take place in Dubai, UAE, where the ruling family is looking to put on a fight card.

Alexander's manager and trainer Kevin Cunningham isn't exactly thrilled with the idea of fighting in the Middle Eastern country but said that they would consider it if a huge purse is offered.

"Khan can get it but if they want us to go Dubai, they got to be talking crazy Dubai money," Cunningham told BoxingScene.com.
