Former champion Cristian Mijares (45-6-2, 21KOs) returns on Saturday night against Osejo Eusebio (21-10-2, 7KOs) in a ten round super bantamweight at Palenque de Gallos in Aguascalientes.

Mijares hopes to move forward to a major title shot by the end of the year. If he can't get anyone at 122, he asked promoter Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions to make a fight with WBO featherweight king Orlando Salido (38-11-2, 26KOs). Beltran also promotes Salido.

"I want to be world champion and I know I can do it. I have the motivation and confidence in myself to beat Osejo and to be ready for a championship fight at 122 pounds or against Orlando Salido at 126. I feel ready for any champion. My promoter Fernando Beltran has promised that this year I'm going to have a big fight."
