Former super flyweight champion Critsian Mijares (36-4-2, 15KOs) returns to the ring on March 14 at the bantamweight limit. Mijares says that he will no longer fight at super flyweight. Mijares is coming off a November knockout loss to Vic Darchinyan. His next opponent is unknown, but the fight will likely take place in Mexico.
Darchinyan will be facing Mijares' countryman, Jorge Arce, on February 7. Mijares says the fight will be very tough for Arce but don't count him out.
"It is a very hard fight, but Arce has the experience, he is brave and should not be ruled out," Mijares told ESTO.
