Cristian Mijares Will Back in Action on 6/21 in Cancun

Former champion Cristian Mijares (49-8-2, 24KOs) will return to action on June 21 in Cancun, Mexico. The card will be promoted by Pepe Gomez of Cancun Boxing. The opponent that night, over ten rounds at super bantamweight, will be Sebastian Rodriguez. The card will be showcased by Televisa Deportes. This will be Mijares' first fight since losing a twelve round unanimous decision to current WBC champion Leo Santa Cruz this past March at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
