They say it takes two to tango and it looks like we're getting to that point as it relates to the proposed July 23rd junior welterweight unification clash between WBC titlist Viktor Postol and WBO belt-holder Terence Crawford.
Crawford seems to be on board with this fight, according to his manager Cameron Dunkin - and now everyone involved is just waiting for Postol.
''We're finalizing some details on the contract,"said his manager, Vadim Kornilov, on Tuesday afternoon to BoxingScene.com.
"Postol has accepted the fight. We were just waiting on Crawford. The promoters are working out some details as far as Elite Boxing and Top Rank, some contractual details."
The undefeated Ukrainian (28-0, 12 KO's), who is trained by Freddie Roach, captured the vacant WBC crown by stopping Lucas Matthysse in ten rounds on October 3rd at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.
Crawford's (28-0, 20 KO's) most recent performance was a 5th round stoppage of Hank Lundy at the Theater of Madison Square Garden in New York on February 27th.
