As the summer has ended, the boxing world now focuses in on it's fall schedule. And for Top Rank that means scheduling dates for two of their premiere fighters, Terence Crawford (29-0, 20KOs) and Vasyl Lomachenko (6-1, 4KOs).

In regards to Crawford, who defeated Viktor Postol on July 23rd to unify the WBC/WBO 140-pound titles, Bob Arum told BoxingsScene.com on Friday afternoon:

"We may skip December and go to January. It will not be later than January 31st. I think it's better to go after the first of the year then to go right up against Christmas and try to sell a lot of tickets."

Arum then mentioned that November 26th will be the return of Vasyl Lomachenko, who on June 11th stopped Rocky Martinez in five round to capture the WBO 130-pound title.

"I think it's going to be in Las Vegas at the Cosmo," said Arum.

The Cosmopolitan has been a frequent host to Top Rank events the past few years. As for it being a holiday weekend, Arum believes it's beneficial to his promotion.

"I love Thanksgiving in Vegas because based on experience the town is empty on Thanksgiving day and then it starts filling up Thursday night and by Friday it's jammed and that weekend is huge. If you remember I did the Morales-Barrera fight on that weekend and you saw how jammed that weekend was."

Back in 2004, Arum staged the third edition of that classic rivalry at the MGM Grand to a huge throng of fans.

"That date became available when (Gennady) Golovkin got off that date to go to December, that opened up the date for us so I'm delighted with that date and I think the best place for that fight on that date is Las Vegas, not in an 18,000 seat arena but the Cosmo, it's beautiful, 3,500 seats. It's perfect," stated Arum.
