Lightweight contender Diego Magdaleno (27-1) will return to the ring on April 18th on the undercard of the Terence Crawford-Thomas Dulorme fight that will be televised by HBO. The venue for the card will be the University of Texas at Arlington's basketball arena.
According to a recent article by BoxingScene's Steve Kim, the arena will be set up for 5,000-6,000 fans.
Magdaleno, who has won four in row since losing a split decision to Rocky Martinez, said that his opponent will be finalized in the near future.
"My manager Frank Espinoza has mentioned a few possible opponents but nothing is finalized yet. Texas was good to me last time I was there. I am excited to go back," Magdaleno told BoxingScene.com.
The Las Vegas resident was referencing his third round knockout of Hevinson Herrera which took place in Pharr, Texas last November.
