BoxingScene.com has been advised that cruiserweight Ryan "The Irish Outlaw" Coyne 14-0) will face Warren Browning (12-0) on the Devon Alexander-Andriy Kotelnik undercard in a battle of undefeated prospects.
Browning has been campaigning at heavyweight and is looking to move down to the cruiserweight limit for this fight. My sources have cautioned me that the contracts haven't been signed yet but the fight is very close to being finalized.
This is another interesting fight that, at least on paper, is part of a very solid fight card being put together by Don King on August 7th in St. Louis. In the main event Devon Alexander faces Andriy Kotelnik, the only man to beat Marcos Maidana. In the co-featured HBO televised slot, you have undefeated IBF light heavyweight champion Tavoris Cloud defending his title versus former champion Glen Johnson.
