Could Boxing Be in Jaylen Brown’s Future?

On Season 2 of Netflix’s NBA series Starting 5, Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown gave fans a glimpse of his boxing skills. The All-NBA forward is shown working the pads and getting his hands wrapped while training, and it turns out the sport runs in his blood.

Brown’s grandfather, Willie Brown, once served as a sparring partner for boxing legends Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier.

“Some good money in boxing, me vs. Draymond or something, Giannis,” Brown joked while training with his grandfather. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Draymond Green are widely regarded as two of the most physical players in the league, making the idea of a celebrity bout between Brown and another NBA star an intriguing one for fans.
