Former three division world champion Miguel Cotto (38-4, 31KOs), and his trainer Freddie Roach, are confident that WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez (51-2-2, 28KOs) will crumble on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Cotto will attempt to become the Puerto Rican fighter in history to capture four world titles in four weight divisions
"I'm ready for the best Sergio. If he's not prepared he's going to suffer, because I'm ready for him. I'm not [Martin] Murray. I'm not like any of the boxers that he's faced. I'm not concerned about how much he's going to weigh. The only thing that concerns me is doing my work," Cotto said.
Cotto's trainer, Freddie Roach, says Martinez will fall in four rounds.
"He's coming off a long layoff and some injuries. I don't think he's going to be in rhythm, because he didn't have a lot of sparring for the fight. I'm not worried about Martinez's weight. Miguel is going to be the stronger guy in the ring and I don't think Martinez is a bigger puncher than Miguel," Roach said.
