Super bantamweight Ricardo "El Maestrito" Córdoba says his career is on the line as he continues to train for what he is calling "the biggest opportunity of my career." Cordoba will meet a fighter regarded as the greatest boxer in the history of the amateurs, two-time Olympic gold medal winner Guillermo Rigondeaux of Cuba.

The fight is going to take place on the huge event at Cowboys Stadium on November 13, headlined by Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito. The interim title of the WBA will be on the line. Cordoba has left for Miami, Florida to finish his training camp.

"It's a great opportunity for me to fight at Cowboys Stadium and to be on a card with Manny Pacquiao is important. He has his experience as an amateur and his Olympic achievements, but he doesn't have my experience as a professional. We prepared hard. The fight will not be easy, but we will win," Cordoba told Gustavo Ampudia.

Cordoba has a record of 37 wins (23 KOs), 2 losses and 2 draws. Rigondeaux has 6 wins with 5 by knockout as a pro.
