Chicago fan favorite Rudy Cisneros returns to the ring this Friday night, April 13th at Cicero Stadium to battle Leshon Sims as part of RESURRECTION, another evening of world class professional boxing presented by Dominic Pesoli’s 8 Count Productions, HOME OF THE BEST IN CHICAGO BOXING.
RESURRECTION, is presented by 8 Count Productions, along with Bob Arum’s Top Rank Incorporated, TCF Bank and TECATE Beer.
Cicero Stadium is located at 1909 S. Laramie, just minutes from the Eisenhower and Stevenson Expressways. Doors for this event will open at 5:30pm with the first bell at 6:30pm.
The heavy handed Cisneros, 9-2 (8KO’s) is coming off a second round destruction of Rudy Lovato on December 22, 2006 at Cicero Stadium. Los Angeles native Sims, 4-4 (2KO’s) is a main stay on the burgeoning Southern California boxing scene.

The weigh-in for this event will take place on Thursday, April 12th at 7pm at Club Aquarius at 2459 N. Pulaski on the northwest side of Chicago.
The Master of Ceremonies for this event will be the internationally recognized voice of Latino boxing, Lupe Contreras.
