It was reported in the Eagle-Tribune that a celebration thrown for boxer Jeff “Hell Raza” Fraza, with respect to his appearance on "The Contender" reality series, turned deadly as violence erupted. A brawl fueled by alcohol caused two brothers to sustain numerous stab wounds, one of them is listed in critical condition. Michael Tang, 27, one of the victims, is a former national tae kwon do champion that almost made the Olympics.

The brothers appear to have been trying to break up a fight when the injuries were sustained. The police report lists Fraza as a suspect, although Fraza denies any involvement in the violence.

“It went from being a good night of celebration, a peaceful night, then all hell broke loose,” Fraza said in a telephone interview. “I’m trying to be a role model for the kids.”

One person has already been arrested in connection with the fight, Daniel Rosado, 24, who witnesses say started the fight by breaking a beer bottle over the head of another patron. He was arraigned in Haverhill District Court in Massachusetts on charges of assault, battery and assault with a dangerous weapon.
