22-year-old amateur star Conrad Cummings has signed a deal with Barry McGuigan and his Cyclone Promotions team, according to UTV. McGuigan's star fighter is undefeated rising star Carl 'The Jackal' Frampton. Cummings will make his professional debut on Frampton's undercard in Belfast in early 2014.
McGuigan said: "His style is naturally suited to the pro-game, very aggressive and relentless in his pursuit of victory. Conrad Cummings is an exciting and destructive prospect that myself and the team have big, big plans for."
Conrad said: "I am ecstatic about turning professional and I am really looking forward to the journey. I know I could not be with a better team to help me get to where I want to be, the very top."
