Lester Martinez scored a fourth-round knockout against Joeshon James on Saturday at the Orange Show Events Center in San Bernardino, California.

James started aggressively, landing 21 punches to Martinez’s 15 in the opening frame. Through two rounds, James threw 144 punches to Martinez’s 78.

The tide turned violently in the closing seconds of the third round courtesy of a Martinez overhand right that landed on James’ temple, followed by a Martinez left hook that smashed James’ jaw. James went down hard, and survived the round because there were only a few seconds left.

Smelling blood, Martinez pounced on James at the beginning of the fourth round, landing eight of nine power punches and putting James down again. James got up again, but the fight was stopped at 1 minute, 5 seconds of the fourth round.
