Fabio Wardley came from behind to knock out Justis Huni in the 10th round on the occasion of his homecoming fight in Ipswich, England.

After averaging 40 punches thrown and 16 punches landed in Rounds 1 through 5, Wardley averaged 28 punches thrown and eight punches landed in Rounds 6 through 9. While Wardley targeted Huni’s body with jabs, Huni targeted Wardley’s body with power punches.

Thirty-six percent of Tuni’s power-punch connects were body shots. Tuni landed 46 percent of his total punches and 51 percent of his power punches. He landed 65 more power punches than Wardley, and his offensive output was steady throughout, while Wardley’s noticeably dipped.

All of Huni’s success was erased when Wardley landed a thunderous right hand that knocked Huni out at 1 minute, 42 seconds of the 10th round. Statistically, Wardley had no business winning this fight, but he landed the last and most meaningful punch.
