Shawn Porter, fighting at home, pressed too hard for the KO.  He settled in by round four, outworking Russell Jordan, who stopped landing his power shots (especially the right hook) in the later rounds.  A true learning experience for the undefeated Porter, in only his 11th pro fight.

Impressive offensive performance by the 11-0 Lanard Lane, who landed an average of 32 punches per round, 13 more than the jr. welter avg.  He also threw 74 per round, 13 more than his weight class avg.  The gutsy Martin Tucker took a beating, yet put up solid numbers, landing 16 of 71 punches per round.  Lane scored big in rounds four and five, landing 74 of 129 power shots in those six minutes.
