Kelly Pavlik’s jab the difference, as he landed an average of 12 of the 40 he threw per round. Pavlik averaged 70 total punches thrown per round to just 38 thrown per round for Jermain Taylor. Taylor landed 46% of his power shots, but landed just six per round.
