"King" Arthur Abraham, who landed 36% of his power punches, rallied in the late rounds to recapture the WBO super middleweight championship in the trilogy showdown with Robert Stieglitz. Stieglitz landed an average of just nine punches per round.

Well that should seal the deal on an objective basis. Very close numbers of punches thrown , with AA connecting at a higher percentage. I'm especially surprised that he threw as many jabs as Stieglitz, which had been missing in previous fights.
