Tonight from the WinneVegas Casino in Sloan, Iowa, another card featuring prospects from the stable of Greg Cohen Promotions takes place that will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network. Hermanito De La Torre, Malik Hawkins and Skender Halili will all be showcased as they have been before on this platform.
And these shows will continue on in 2017.
"Our CBS dates we can go as much as once a month if we'd like and even more if we have the appetite for it," explained Cohen."I know we already have three shows lined up for the first quarter of next year. We're probably going to sneak in one more show in December of this year, looking for a Mason Menard fight. Look, we're just looking to keep our kids busy. This is a great platform that we have in CBS."
The series is mainly designed to help move along young prospects during their developmental stage.
"It showcases our fighters, they get seen not only in the United States, we put it in over one hundred countries around the world and we've had plenty of guys graduate on the CBS platform to go out and fight in world title fights. That's what it's there for," Cohen explained to BoxingScene.com.
