Cody Richard, Skip Scott Return To Action on April 1

Chalmette, Louisiana……Silver Lining Entertainment in association with The Sigur Center in Chalmette, Louisiana and Keeppunching Entertainment will present a professional boxing show featuring a TRIPLE MAIN EVENT at the SIGUR CENTER in Chalmette, Louisiana April 1st. The main events will feature one of the top amateurs in the country who is now a professional in Michael Martinez from Snyder, Texas, an incredible display of fistic fury from knockout artist Chad Trahan from Lafayette, Louisiana and Chalmette’s own exciting Gary Bergeron.

Chalmette will have ‘BIG TIME BOXING’ you would expect to see in much larger arenas with a talent pool of some of the best prospects in America.

Promoter Colin Bates, a movie producer, has always had an itch for professional boxing. Originally from England and working out of California, he now lives in New Orleans and assists in shooting and producing some of the top movies on the big screen. Bates has brought on veteran boxing promoter, Kerry Daigle to assist him in making this show a most exciting one. Keeppunching Entertainment, Daigle’s company, is bringing in well known boxing manager/cutman, Beau Williford, to be the matchmaker for this show. Williford has managed in excess of 10 world champions. Daigle has also promoted many national televised shows in his 35 plus years as a promoter.

Rounding out the card will be the ever popular and undefeated lightweight Cody Richard from Beaumont, Texas whose popularity is no secret in the southern United States. A big man, Cruiserweight Wilford Fusilier will be featured in his pro debut along with Houston’s favorite heavyweight, Skip “Strictly Business”: Scott, a 6 foot 8” inch giant with a physique to boot. Closing out the card will be an extremely popular Canadian light-heavyweight, Anthony Russell who has been seen on national television fighting out of New Jersey.

This boxing show is a first for Chalmette consisting of incredible talent all looking for one day to fight for a world championship.
