According to WBO light heavyweight champion Nathan Cleverly (25-0, 12KOs), he is considering the possibility of holding his next training camp at Freddie Roach's Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles. Cleverly will defend his title against mandatory challenger Robin Krasniqi (39-2, 15KOs) on March 16th. Cleverly spent time at Roach’s gym prior to his last defense against Shawn Hawk, whom Nathan stopped in eight rounds in November. Nathan is trained by his father Vince.

“There’s real potential there. We spent a short time in the Wild Card gym and I really enjoyed it. It was tough, very unique and intense. Freddie was impressed with what he saw and there’s a possibility I could go out there for a training camp before my next fight," Cleverly told The Sun. “[My team] are all positive about it and support what is best for me. Dad is supportive of whatever I feel is best.”
