BoxingScene.com has learned that Friday's card, “Class of 2008,” is heading for a sellout crowd. 340 Promotions, Seminole Warriors Boxing, Sampson Lewkowicz, and Leslie Comission have put the card together at the University of the Virgin Islands Sports and Fitness Center in St. Thomas. All of the ringside seats are gone and the promoters expect the card to be sold out by the day of the fight, a first for boxing in St. Thomas.

The main event features junior welterweight prospect Victor "Mermelada" Cayo (19-0, 14KOs) will face Mexican opponent Noe “Platanito” Bolanos (20-3-1, 12 KOs). 2008 Virgin Island Olympians John and Julius Jackson, the sons of former champion and future Hall of Fame fighter Julian “The Hawk” Jackson, will make their pro debuts on the shoe. Jackson's nephew Samuel Rogers will also make his pro debut on the card.

Three amateur bouts featuring local amateurs will start off the card.
