On November 23, legendary female boxer, Christy Martin, was hospitalized after being shot and stabbed in her Orange County, Fla. home. On November 30, it was announced that Martin's 66-year-old husband, James Martin, was arrested in northwest Orange County as a suspect in the stabbing and shooting of his wife.

The 42-year-old Martin (49-5-3, 31 knockouts) is scheduled to meet with Top Rank Promotions CEO, Bob Arum, in the 79-year-old legendary promoter's Las Vegas office with the idea of ending a four-year, four-month absence from the ring with a professional comeback -- a story first reported by The Orlando Sentinel.

"I'm heading to Vegas [Wednesday,]" Martin wrote in an e-mail to The Sentinel on Tuesday, "to sign a fight deal."

If Martin returns, she will work with veteran trainer Miguel Diaz in Las Vegas.
