Chris John's April Return is Set For Indonesia

BoxingScene.com has confirmed that undefeated WBA featherweight champion Chris John will defend his title in April. John is the WBA's "super champion" at featherweight. The next defense of his title will take place in Indonesia. From what I was told, the card will be a special anniversary show to celebrate John's 2003 title win.

John is the most popular athlete in his country. He wanted to return to the ring in Indonesia as a sign of gratitude to his big following. John has not fought in Indonesia since January 2008. His last three fights were held on foreign soil. The local promoters in Indonesia are working on setting the date.
