WBA featherweight champion Chris John (39-0-1), 27, of Indonesia is set to travel to Japan to make th fourth defense of his title against Zaiki Takemoto on Aug. 19. He last saw action in Japan in 2004, when he outboxed Osamu Sato.
"This is my second fight in Japan. Pressure from the crowd will be very high for sure," said John in The Jakarta Post. "But I think I will be able to overcome the crowd thanks to better preparation and the prayers of my supporters back home. I'm considering the possibility of arriving early in Japan to adapt to the weather."
