WBA featherweight champion Chris John (42-0-1, 22 KOs) retained his title win a dominating twelve-round decision over previously undefeated Hiroki Enoki (27-1-2, 19KOs) at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
The scores were 117-111, 118-110 and 118-110, marking the tenth defense of the title. Enoki landed the shot after fighting to a draw with Takahiro Aoh in a WBA eliminator in April. Aoh also landed a title shot as a result of the draw, losing by way of split-decision to WBC champ Oscar Larios on October 16 in Japan.
