Middleweight prospect Chris Eubank Jr. (3-0, 2KOs) remains undefeated with an impressive fourth round stoppage win over Scotland’s Paul Allison at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast.
The 22 year-old, who fought his last bout with Jason Ball using just one hand after suffering an injury, looked a lot more relaxed as he reeled off some excellent combinations and looks certain to be up with at the top end of domestic level within twelve months.
Eubank Jr., with his former world champion father Chris Sr. at ringside cheering him on, produced a frenzied attack at the beginning of the fourth round and referee Terry O’Connor had no option but to stop the bout with previously unbeaten Allison’s head rocked back several times.
After the fight, Eubank Jr. spoke to Channel 5 and had this to say: “I went in there tonight with the intention of proving a point. I wanted to produce and explosive performance and that’s exactly what I did.”
