Chris Eubank Jnr was discharged from hospital Monday  after undergoing checks following Saturday's brutal points win over Conor Benn. The contest, which took place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, was a rousing affair won unanimously by Eubank Jnr after 12 rounds - yet doctors quickly ordered the 35-year-old to go to hospital for precautionary tests.

The rivals were originally supposed to fight in 2022 until Benn failed two PED tests, leading to a late cancellation and a somewhat bad tempered build-up.

Eubank, 35-3 (25 KOs), had to endure a torrid time to make the contracted weight of 160lbs, eventually coming in a fraction over the middleweight limit. Regardless, a two-fight deal is in place and Turki Alalshikh has stated he would like to make the return later in the year. "If they're not injured and ready, we want the rematch in late September at Tottenham," Alalshikh said via The Ring's Mike Coppinger. "The British fans were amazing and I thank them."

Benn, 23-1 (14 KOs), offered his congratulations to Eubank via social media on Sunday before adding "...but this ain't over".
