Minto would hold Arreola to prevent him from following up with additional punches when caught. At the start of the second round, Minto landed a good combination but Arreola walked through it and continued to press the action. Minto started to target the body. Arreola would land a hard right to the head. Arreola landed another combination at the end of the round. Minto's eyes were both swelling up by the end of the round. In the third, Minto got brave and started trading punches with Arreola. He took some decent damage for his trouble.

Minto landed a good three punch combo at the start of the fourth but Arreola came right back with a hard combo. A stuff right hand sent Minto down a moment later. Arreola went for blood but Minto stood toe to toe and began to go to war with Arreola. The two were landing some heavy punches. Arreola started working him over and sent him down again, very hard.
