RICHARD TOWERS is in Scotland helping Dereck Chisora prepare for his IBF and WBO heavyweight title showdown against Wladimir Klitschko.
The 6ft 8in unbeaten Hatton Promotions hopeful is even bigger than Klitschko and a valuable asset in the British and Commonwealth champion’s preparations
Sheffield’s Towers will return home from Fort William on Sunday to complete preparations for his ninth professional fight at Bolton’s Reebok Stadium on Friday November 26.
Towers, 31, said: “It is fair to say I am playing the part of Klitschko and it is an honour to be invited.
“It is an amazing experience for a fighter like me to be asked by one of Britain’s best boxers to help him train for a world heavyweight title challenge.
“The Chisora team are treating me brilliantly and it shows what I have to do to become a champion.
“Every minute Dereck is the gym he trains like an absolute demon and I and learn so much.
“Right now I feel like I am the luckiest man in the world and that is no exaggeration.”
