Dereck Chisora is hoping for a showdown with the winner of David Haye and Wladimir Klitschko's world title unification fight in July.
Chisora was twice due to face Klitschko, only for the giant Ukrainian to pull out injured.
But Del Boy hasn't ruled out the fight being put on for a third time.
The Londoner defends his British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles against Tyson Fury in July.
And victory will leave him in a strong position.
With the domestic scene effectively cleaned up, Chisora will be in a strong position to push for a world title shot.
"I felt I was ready when I said yes to the Klitschko fight," said Chisora.
"Another year or so down the line and I will definitely be there.
"It's always been my goal to win a world title, and victory over Fury will strengthen my hand."
