British heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora has fired back at all of the recent comments from domestic rival Tyson Fury. Chisora tells Gareth Davies of The Telegraph that he wasn't impressed with Fury's recent knockout of unbeaten Brazilian Marcelo Luis Nascimento at Wembley. Chisora faces WBO/IBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko on April 30 in Germany.
"I was at Wembley on Saturday night to see Fury knock over some unknown Brazilian in front of a handful of people and it told me nothing other that I will never waste my time going to watch Fury again and when we meet it would be a very easy nights works for me. He came out with a stupid statement afterwards saying that I'm only fighting Klitschko because I'm scared of him! Listening to some of the nonsense he speaks I wonder if he really believes all the hype surrounding him.," Chisora said.
Chisora then ripped into Fury over his recent opponents, and the attempt to fight aged veteran Francois Botha, and the attempt by Fury and his promoter Mick Hennessey to get him stripped of the British belt.
"Tyson can continue knocking over unknown Brazilians, or make embarrassing attempts to bring the likes of old men like Frans Botha over here to pad out his record. My message to Tyson Fury is loud and clear, stop whining, talking rubbish and getting your promoter to do your dirty work, wait your chance like a man. Championships are won and lost, so stop trying to steal it underhandedly - I might be Del Boy, but Fury is just a fool with a horse, a total Plonker!"
