After all of the back and forth claims, the two most popular boxers in Mexico, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, will finally settle their dispute on which boxer generates the highest television ratings in their country. On September 17th, the issues will be settled. Chavez will defend his WBC middleweight title against Ronald Hearns in Mexico, with TV Azteca televising. Alvarez is defending his WBC junior middleweight title against Alfonso Gomez in Los Angeles, with Televisa carrying the fight.
