Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and Jose Celaya are set to collide in a 'Latin Fury' battle on Feb. 9.

Chavez, 21, has a record of 34-0-1 with 27 KOs. He is coming off his best pro win, a stoppage of tough Ray Sanchez in his hometown of Albuquerque, N.M. Chavez will now take on a Celaya, 26, who has a record of 31-3 with 16 knockouts.

The fight will be held in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Celaya has won five straight bouts. "He's good, but I have a lot of advantages - my experience, speed and skills. They (fight fans) are going to be surprised when they see me.  My plan is to dominate this fight, win, and move on the bigger things."

Chavez Jr. is the oldest son of the legendary 'El Grande Campeon Mexicano' - former three-time world champion and future Hall of Famer Julio Cesar Chavez. The father walked his son to the the ring in his biggest fight, when he took on Ray Sanchez in Albuquerque on Dec. 1.

"I'm am very happy about the boxing career of my son," Chavez said. "He is very serious about his career and he is always 100 percent prepared."

Chavez Jr will train in Culiacan, Mexico. Celaya will do his workouts in his hometown of Salinas, Calif. His chief trainer is Sam Garcia.
