Cesar 'Junito' Seda (22-1, 16 KO's) will travel over to California to sign a promotional contract with Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions. Seda will campaign in the bantamweight division and plans to officially debut at the weight in September or October -  indicating that he hopes to capture the 118-pound crown before ascending to 122.

"We're going to California for [Golden Boy] and we're going to campaign for a while at 118 and then go to the 122. I want to be a champion in those two divisions. I'm staying in Puerto Rico and I hope to do my first fight at bantamweight in a month or month and a half. I'm helping Orlando del Valle with sparring and I feel good at the weight. I want the title at 118, make a couple of defenses, unify with any of the champions and then go to super bantamweight," Seda said.
