In what many thought would be a competitive fight, turned into a mismatch. The longer and taller Celestino Caballero (31-2, 22 KOs) went right through previously undefeated The Canadian Kid" Steve Molitor (28-1, 11 KOs) in four rounds to unify the WBA/IBF super bantamweight titles at the Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario.

Caballero began landing bombs to the head and body from the opening bell. Molitor had no answer and could barely get away from the big punches. In the fourth round, a right uppercut sent Molitor crashing down and he used the ropes to get up. A few seconds later a combinations of hard punches forced the referee to jump as Molitor's corner threw in the towel.

After the fight was over, Caballero called out the other champions and big names at his weight, Rafael Marquez, Israel Vazquez and Juan Manuel Lopez.
